On December 4, 2024, these UPMC Presbyterian CRNAs showcased diverse career opportunities during the UPMC Pathways for Students Educational Career Event at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.

They participated in the Neighborhood Resilience Angel Project by purchasing and donating holiday gifts to bring joy to local children and their families during the holidays.

A motivated group of CRNAs from UPMC Presbyterian Hospital spent their Saturday morning, on November 16, giving back to the community at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s The Market in Duquesne, Pennsylvania.

In partnership with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Nurse Anesthesia, we proudly hosted the annual Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist Mentorship Workshop on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

The MAC Committee gathered to support Pittsburgh’s Mission of Mercy event on November 1-2, 2024, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The annual event provides essential dental, vision, and hearing care at no cost to underserved populations.

Danielle M. Meholic, DNAP, CRNA, Clinical CRNA Director at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, was honored with the Employer Support of the Guard and the Reserve Patriot Award for her outstanding support Lieutenant Colonel Chuck D. Giordano, MSN, DNP, CRNA, during his military service.

On September 26, 2024, UPMC Shadyside CRNAs Rachel Hicks and Jessica Kridler joined forces with M-PowerHouse again to introduce high school students at the Pittsburgh Science and Technology Academy to careers in nurse anesthesia. 

Sara J. Fauls, MSN, CRNA, joins a distinguished group of nursing professionals recognized for their exceptional clinical practice and leadership.

Terri will retire in December 2024 after a remarkable career spanning 45 years as a dedicated CRNA, 35 of those years at UPMC Mercy Hospital and 11 years as CRNA Director at Mercy.

During National Advanced Practice Provider Week, Joshua Allender, MS, CRNA, and Toni Orsino, MBA, CRNA, were recognized for their outstanding contributions.
