Our CRNAs at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh demonstrated the spirit of giving this holiday season by participating in the Neighborhood Resilience Angel Project. This meaningful initiative, organized by Neighborhood Resilience, a Hill District-based community support organization, brings joy to local children and their families during the holidays.
Our CRNA team generously purchased holiday gifts tailored to the wish lists of children ranging from toddlers to teenagers. Their thoughtful contributions aim to brighten the season for many families, fostering community connection and resilience.
The children and their families are invited to a festive gathering at the Neighborhood Resilience headquarters on December 21, where they will enjoy cookies and cocoa before receiving their carefully selected gifts.
This act of kindness is just one example of the dedication of CRNAs in our department to making a positive difference not just in the lives the patients they serve, but also their local communities.
