The Cameos of Caring Awards Program was created over 20 years ago to recognize exceptional bedside nurses who work at acute care hospitals and who are role models within their facility and beyond.

Monica Bolland, MD; Jennifer Kundick, MSN, CRNA; Jacqueline Miller, MSN, CRNA; Katie Weir, MSN, CRNA; and Emily Whitco, MSN, CRNA, were selected as ACES winners for fiscal year 2020.

Physicians, nurse anesthetists, and anesthesia technologists from UPMC Mercy's Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine raised $3,775 for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

Congratulations to Allison Lewis, MBA, MSN, CRNA, Clinical Director of UPMC Passavant, who was appointed by the Passavant Medical Executive Committee as Vice Chair of the Passavant Advanced Practice Provider Council.

Our CRNAs continued their annual traditions of celebration, appreciation, and community service during National CRNA Week, January 24-30, 2021.

Corinne retired on January 15, 2021, after 36 years of CRNA practice, 20 of which were at UPMC Shadyside.

They were honored for excellence in nursing in 2020 in the advanced practitioner category. Allison was featured as an Excellence in Nursing honoree and Bill received an honorable mention.
