Brett M. Fadgen, MSN, CFRN, CRNA, (UPMC Network) was among the honorees in Pittsburgh Magazine’s seventh annual Excellence in Nursing Awards.

The FAAN designation is the highest honor in academic nursing and is awarded for significant contributions to the profession.

The award recognizes staff, who have been nominated by a colleague, for making a healthy change such as managing stress, quitting smoking, or exercising more.

The award recognizes staff members and physicians who go above and beyond their job duties and actively display UPMC’s values.

The Cameos of Caring Program & Awards honors exceptional bedside nurses who work at acute care hospitals.

Joseph Manilla, MSN, CRNA, who has accepted the role of CRNA Clinical Director for UPMC Passavant McCandless/Cranberry hospitals, effective July 31, 2022.
