The Clinical Investigator track combines a one-year clinical fellowship in Obstetric Anesthesiology with our NIH T32 research program and would be arranged on an individual basis. After completing the clinical fellowship, the candidate will be mentored in Years 2 and 3 through a structured research program in which a research topic of interest can be rigorously pursued. An advanced degree (e.g. Master of Science in Clinical Research) is possible with tuition supported by the training award. During the second and third year, the candidate will have a clinical faculty appointment with >75% effort devoted to research. This track requires a 2-year commitment to the T32 research program after completion of the clinical fellowship.
