Jacques E. Chelly, MD, PhD, MBA, has been invited to join the Advisory Board of Voices for Non-Opioid Choices.
Voices for Non-Opioid Choices is a leading nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing patient access to innovative and effective non-opioid pain management treatments. By promoting policies that prioritize patient choice and safety, the organization seeks to reduce reliance on opioids and offer safer, evidence-based alternatives for pain management.
Dr. Chelly, a distinguished leader in the field of anesthesiology and pain management, will bring his extensive expertise to the Advisory Board, which convenes on December 12th in Washington, DC. The board includes a select group of experts tasked with providing clinical insights and strategic guidance to shape the organization’s advocacy initiatives.
Dr. Chelly’s contributions will be based on research fostered by the Center of Innovation in Pain Care in our department. His work on the advisory board will be instrumental in influencing policy recommendations aimed at improving patient outcomes and expanding access to non-opioid treatments, with a specific focus on regional analgesia and complementary and alternative approaches in surgical patients.
