Toni Orsino, MBA, CRNA, our Senior CRNA Director, received an Honorary Mention for the UPMC Physician Services Division Extra Mile Quarterly Award. The award recognizes staff members and physicians who go above and beyond their job duties and actively display UPMC’s values.
Toni was recognized and appreciated for working “inexhaustibly” for our department, especially during recent stressful months. She has worked tirelessly on CRNA recruitment, as well as on mentoring and retaining our 400+ CRNA workforce. Just some of Toni’s passionate efforts that were recognized were CRNA career development; helping to improve our productivity and cost effectiveness; guiding the CRNA Directors in developing crisis staffing; advocating for CRNA incentives; developing a professional CRNA career ladder; and working with other department leaders to develop our physician/CRNA Quality Improvement Incentive Program.
