Tammy L. Nuzzo, MHS, CRNA (UPMC Shadyside), was accepted as a fellow into the UPMC Preceptor Academy for a three-year term, effective January 1, 2024.
The UPMC Preceptor Academy is a diverse collective of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) whose mission is to nurture and sustain an unrivaled Center of Excellence. Their primary focus is to develop and advance clinical education for APPs by facilitating learning, mentorship, engagement, and fellowship for the next generation of medical providers.
Several other APPs in our department have been recognized as fellows of the UPMC Preceptor Academy. Our other fellows are Vincent J. Contento, MSN, CRNA; Patricia K. Kitt, MHS, CRNA; and Beth A. White, MSN, CRNA (all from UPMC Shadyside); and Kira A. Luka, MPAS, PA-C (UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh).
