Our residents’ 3rd Annual Opioid Epidemic Awareness Fundraiser, organized by Neal Shah, MD, was held on January 25, 2020 at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and was a tremendous success. Nearly 300 people from the Pittsburgh community attended the event, with strong participation from residents. Thanks to support from sponsors, everyone who attended the event and participated in the raffle, and friends/family/colleagues who donated via GoFundMe, the event raised $26,000 in donations to Light of Life to help them continue their community outreach programs and assist individuals with opioid addiction.
