
We are pleased to announce that Lynsie Zoeller, MSN, CRNA, has accepted the position of Assistant Clinical CRNA Director at UPMC Shadyside, effective February 23, 2025. Lynsie brings extensive clinical expertise, a passion for mentorship and education, and a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration in patient care.
Lynsie earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh Nurse Anesthesia Program and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University. She has 11 years of clinical experience, primarily at UPMC Shadyside, with additional coverage at UPMC Passavant through the Tier System. Throughout her tenure as a staff CRNA, Lynsie has demonstrated a passion for neurosurgery and has taken on additional responsibilities, including serving as Charge CRNA and Specialty SRNA Clinical Coordinator and mentoring students in the University of Pittsburgh Nurse Anesthesia Program. She has also been actively involved in quality improvement initiatives, recruitment efforts, and shadowing opportunities for students and registered nurses.

Lynsie’s dedication to education and mentorship was recognized when she received the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology Helen Lamb CRNA Educator Award for her valuable contributions to instructional excellence and the University of Pittsburgh Department of Nurse Anesthesia Academic Achievement Award.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Scott Rusiewicz, MSN, CRNA, who previously held this position. His dedication, leadership, and contributions have been instrumental in shaping the department and supporting our UPMC Shadyside CRNA team, as well as our leadership team. We are grateful that Scott will continue to be part of our team at UPMC Shadyside, where his clinical expertise and leadership experience remain highly valued.
