Faculty Participation in IARS/SOCCA/SATA Meetings

Our faculty will present the following work at the upcoming meetings of the International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS), the Society of Critical Care Anesthesiologists (SOCCA), and the Society for the Advancement of Transplant Anesthesia (SATA) in Seattle, WA. IARS/SOCCA will take place on May 17-19, 2024, and SATA will take place on May 19-20, 2024.

Joshua Knight, MD, FASE, will moderate the “Heart” portion of “SATA Transplant Anesthesia Databases” as part of “Session 3: Research” on May 19, 5:00 – 6:00 PM.  
Senthilkumar Sadhasivam, MD, MPH, MBA, FASA

Senthilkumar Sadhasivam, MD, MPH, MBA, FASA, will present “Personalizing Perioperative Pain Management and Opioid Pharmacogenetics” at IARS on May 18, 2:30 - 3:30 PM.
Tetsuro Sakai, MD, PhD, MHA, FASA

Tetsuro Sakai, MD, PhD, MHA, FASA, will present “Current Technological Support for Professional Development Activities: Friend or Foe?” at IARS on May 18, 2:30 - 3:30 PM.

Dr. Sakai will also moderate Session 1: International Session of the Korean Society of Transplantation Anesthesiologists and SATA on May 19, 2:15 – 3:15 PM.

Kathirvel Subramaniam, MD, MPH, FASE, will present “Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) for Heart and Lung Transplants” at SATA on May 19, 4:15 – 5:00 PM.
Harikesh Subramanian, MBBS, MS, D.ABA, ABPM-CI

Harikesh Subramanian, MBBS, MS, D.ABA, ABPM-CI, will moderate the “Lung” portion of “SATA Transplant Anesthesia Databases” as part of “Session 3: Research” on May 19, 5:00 – 6:00 PM.
