Congratulations to Eileen Nguyen, who took home the 1st place award in the Best Basic Science Category at the 2020 Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology (SOAP) Virtual Meeting for her presentation “Kappa opioid signaling for the treatment of neuraxial morphine-induced itch.” Eileen is an MD/PhD candidate in the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon Medical Scientist Training Program and is mentored by Sarah E. Ross, PhD, and Grace Lim, MD, MS.
