Ondecko Ligda, MD, FASA, and Tetsuro Sakai, MD, PhD, MHA, FASA, who each received the Distinguished Educator in Anesthesiology award from the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and the Society for Education in Anesthesia (SEA) for their contributions to advancing anesthesiology education. Their awards will be publicly announced at the Emery A. Rovenstine Lecture at ANESTHESIOLOGY 2019 on Monday, October 21, 8:00-9:15 a.m. at the Orange County Convention Center, Room W320 Chapin Theater.
