Dr. Trent Emerick Elected to AAPM Board of Directors

We are proud to announce that Trent D. Emerick, MD, MBA, FASA, Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine and Bioengineering, and Program Director of our Pain Medicine Fellowship, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM).

Dr. Emerick was elected following the AAPM 2025 election and will officially begin his term at PainConnect 2025, the Academy's annual meeting, which will be held in Austin, TX, from April 3 to April 6, 2025.

Founded in 1983 as the American Academy of Algology, AAPM is the leading organization for pain medicine physicians in the United States. AAPM's mission is to advance multidisciplinary pain care, education, advocacy, and research to improve the quality of life for the organization's members and those they treat. AAPM's Board of Directors is composed of leaders in pain medicine who are dedicated to advancing this critical mission.

We congratulate Dr. Emerick on this appointment and look forward to his continued contributions to the field of pain medicine at both the departmental and national levels.
