Congratulations to Michael P. Mangione, MD, who was nominated for the 2016 Golden Apple Award. The award is given each year by the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine graduating class to a faculty member who has contributed the most to their experience transitioning from medical students to physicians. The winner of the award will be announced at intermission of the show of Scope and Scalpel on Sunday May 22, 2016.
