Congratulations to Gregg E. Homanics, PhD, who was recently named a Specialty Chief Editor for the section Methods and Model Organisms for the journal Frontiers in Molecular Neuroscience.
Methods and Model Organisms is dedicated to identifying key molecular and cellular players that underlie the brain’s structure, design, and function across all levels. The section focuses on the application of genetic engineering, genetic screens, optogenetics, chemogenetics, transcriptomics, and other methods to gain insight into normal and pathologic brain function. Model systems include vertebrate and invertebrate animals, brain organoids, and induced pluripotent stem cell-based approaches.
