Congratulations to Michael W. Neft, DNP, MHA, CRNA, FNAP, FAANA, FAAN, a casual nurse anesthetist working at UPMC McKeesport, who recently earned his second doctoral degree. On May 13, he was conferred a PhD in Nursing from Duquesne University after completing an excellent presentation and defense of his dissertation, “The Lived Experience of Second Victim CRNAs.” Dr. Neft will join the faculty at Duquesne in August after serving on the faculty on the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, first in the Department of Acute and Tertiary Care and later in the Department of Nurse Anesthesia.
