The team is also committed to attracting and retaining people with differing abilities and providing accommodations to staff and candidates for employment with differing abilities to enable them to perform the essential functions of their jobs.
A recent initiative of UPMC ENABLED that will be coming soon is a training guide for hiring managers and recruiters, “Disability Awareness for the Employment Lifecycle.” This detailed resource will be available in the near future on the UPMC Infonet (intranet site for employees).
