On the evening of Saturday, June 29th, 2024, members of our transplantation anesthesiology faculty gathered to celebrate the successful completion of the UPMC Hepatic Transplantation Anesthesiology Fellowship Program by Yaroslava Longhitano, MD, PhD.

The Hepatic Transplantation Anesthesiology Fellowship at UPMC Presbyterian is renowned for its rigorous training and exceptional education. UPMC Presbyterian stands as a leading center for organ transplantation, handling over 200 liver, small bowel, pancreas, and multivisceral transplants annually. The fellowship program offers a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes perioperative care and provides extensive research opportunities. Fellows collaborate closely with colleagues in surgery, hematology, and critical care medicine, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
