The 4th Annual Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Academy will be held November 3-4, 2023 at Cumberland Woodlands Village in Allison Park, PA. This two-day, multidisciplinary interactive course aims to educate APPs on up-to-date treatments and best practice guidelines, as well as improve interdisciplinary relationships between APPs across local hospitals in order to better serve their patients. The course will aim to enhance both clinical and procedural skills by offering a combination of didactic lectures, hands-on workshops, and interactive panel discussions.
The event’s lineup of expert speakers includes several clinicians from our department.
- Mandy Crankovic, MHS, CRNA, from UPMC Passavant will present “Roles and Responsibilities of CRNAs.”
- Wende A. Goncz, DO, MMM, from UPMC Passavant will present “Gender Affirming OR Case Study.”
- Lt. Col. Laura Lee Wiggins, DNP, CRNA, from UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital will participate on the Veteran’s Panel.
