Research, Clinical, and/or Academic Interests
Dr. Margerison became interested in the central nervous system’s role in musculoskeletal pain while treating patients as an orthopedic physical therapist. Her current research uses various neuroimaging techniques to measure brain activity of people with chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions, specifically during movement-evoked pain.
