The Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research (BRIMR) recently released their fiscal year (FY) 2022 rankings of institutions and departments across the United States by amount of grant funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The latest BRIMR rankings place us among the top five NIH-funded anesthesiology departments in the nation. Our department is ranked #5 this year.
In addition, Ajay D. Wasan, MD, MSc, was a top 10 NIH-funded investigator in anesthesiology in FY 2022.
